Bertrand Marchal This is a good melo Death Doom album, definitely. The female voice - pace and tone -reminds of Estatic Fear's Somber Dance - Bonus point for this! Too bad she's not used more. The whole is not super original, but for a start, it's still impressively well balanced..

Brett (Lascaille's Shroud / Soulmass) There's something special about this brand of death/doom. The hulking movement of the songs, the melancholic passages. So easy to fall into and just let time pass. Favorite track: Thorngates.

David Fischer Good death-doom metal with some extra gentle, female vocals in various songs. I'm particularly fond of Endless Fall and An Old Remembrance. Favorite track: Endless Fall.
